Get an upgrade...

Our Valentine's Day shopping resulted in an organizational upgrade. On Saturday we went shopping at some of the antique stores on West San Carlos. We ended up at a consignment store called Not Too Shabby, that was actually on Bascom. They had alot of great things that we had to restrain ourselves from spending money on. We were looking for a chair for our family room but instead we came away with this awesome table....
It was a steal at only $35! Pardon the Wii remote cable running across it.

We also found this solid oak sideboard....
It was $139, but worth it. We are using it as a dresser in our bedroom. It has allowed me to upgrade from this...
... piece of MDF from Target. Moving all of our clothes around resulted in some pretty serious early spring cleaning. It felt great to purge the things that don't fit or are damaged, but never discarded.

We have applied to the Santa Clara Valley Water District to Adopt the portion of Coyote Creek that runs through Hellyer Park. We should find out in a week or two if our application was approved. Watch out local readers, you may get tapped to come help on a Creek Cleanup day.
