January 2013 - A photo review

Well I let the whole month go by without a blog post at all... I'll summarize instead!

Technically, this was late December, but the after effects (aka car shopping) were prevalent in our January. Crummy accident, bodies are ok, car: not so much.

We planted some trees out front! Saratoga Sweet Bay trees that we got through Our City Forest. (Rental car in the driveway)

Then we finished the pathway out to the chicken coop (just in the nick of darkness).

That same night we went to see a Kurt Weil symphony, put on by Symphony Silicon Valley

A fire in the fireplace for the first time in years! Had to unseal the drafty thing just to use it. Promptly resealed and dormant again.

A snuggly moment with both dogs in and on the bed.

I made him get up to early to play on the computer in bed. He just wanted to sleep.

Ah! Finally we got a car. Then we returned it... Lemon!

I went for a run (more than 1 actually) and cooled off on the patio with Zeus hanging close by.

He heard a noise, promptly hopped up to investigate, realized nothing was there and back to sleep.

And then we bought a car for real!! Love it!

He thought he was in trouble for pulling the chair cushion off. Got a little submissive and sad about it.

I always wanted a pair in High School. Indulged the other day in the fabulous train conductor overalls. Now I just need to figure out how I can justify wearing them everyday.

And finally... A new pair of shoes.

February should be more interesting over here at A Fuzzy View! I'm going to restart the Photo A Day Challenge. It was last February when I started the first time around. I did really well with it, but got off track in October. More to come on that later today.
